We had a fantastic stay at Solar Montesclaros! the location was perfect, with stunning views of the Alhambra. the Andalusian decor in our room, the Persia room, was beautiful, and we loved the big bath with the lanterns. Antonio gave us a warm welcome and the staff were extremely helpful throughout our stay. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast and appreciated the helpful suggestions for activities and transportation.

The rooms in the hotel are very tastefully designed with a great view to the Alhambra from the private terrace. Antonio is a very friendly and helpful host. He organised a pick up service for us from the car park, where we left our car. This is very much recommended since the hotel is not accessible by car and the driver who is sent by Antonio knows how to get to the hotel so you don´t have to worry about finding it. The hotel´s location in the old Albaycin is wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the three days we spent in this delightful place. This was one of the nicest guest houses we have ever been to.

During my recent transit in Granada, I had the opportunity to stay at Solar Montesclaros. One of the standout features of this hotel is its close proximity to the airport. Being just 17 km away from Federico Garcia Lorca Granada-Jaen Airport, it was incredibly convenient for me to reach the hotel and catch my connecting flight. Solar Montesclaros provided a roundtrip airport shuttle and a ferry terminal shuttle, making my travel experience even more seamless.

I was disappointed to find that the breakfast was not included in the price of the room.

Great choice if driving, however, parking can be a hassle and A/C might be broken. Service and attention by the staff was impeccable. Beautifully decorated rooms, each with a unique touch. Fantastic curator who goes above and beyond. Located in a convenient area with restaurants nearby. Absolutely loved the views from the balcony, especially at night.

Parking is a major problem if you are driving. I had to park downtown and take a cab.

My daughter and I arrived late at night.We were provided with a free shuttle from the airport.The room was lovely with amazing views across to the Alhambra,We were within walking distance to every thing.Great breakfast included.The room was spacious and very comfortable.Would happily recommend Solar MontesClaros any time.

This cozy hotel is located in a beautiful historic neighborhood, with the old town center just a 20-minute walk away. The rooms are spacious, well-decorated, and equipped with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are clean and have good showers. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The complimentary breakfast offers a variety of options, including fresh orange juice and a delicious fruit salad. The hotel also offers a terrace with stunning views of the city.

Some guests with knee issues might find the stairs in the building and leading to the guest house a bit challenging.

Best value hotel we have experienced, big room with everything and great host. Julio was amazing :)
